Comment Policy
This is a dofollow blog, and although I truly welcome and appreciate everyone who takes the time to leave a thoughtful comment on this blog, that does not mean that I like or will tolerate SPAM. Only comments that are relevant and have value will be accepted; everything else will be edited or deleted.
To make sure your comment is accepted, follow these guidelines:
- Use a real name or at least a legitimate handle. Keywords are obvious spam attempts, but less obvious attempts will also be deleted.
- Link to a site that you own or is relevant and valuable to the discussion.
- If your comment is somewhat genuine and points to a URL you own, you’re okay.
- If your comment is somewhat genuine and shows the URL of an obvious commercial site, your link will likely be removed, but the comment will be approved.
By nature, I will end up inadvertently deleting valid comments to keep out the spam, and I apologize in advance if you’re affected by that.
By the way, if you do leave a comment here because you know it is good for SEO purposes, then please do me the courtesy of social bookmarking a post. If you bookmark the post you commented on, you build the authority of the page that links to you, so we both win and the entire link ecosystem is improved.
Legal mumbo jumbo regarding ownership of your comments:
The Proprietor does not claim ownership of comments you submit. However, by submitting a comment, you grant the Proprietor world-wide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free, non-exclusive, fully sub-licensable license(s) to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, publicly perform and publicly display your comments and to incorporate your comments into other works in any format or medium now known or later developed.
Translated: when you submit a comment, you give me the right to use it or ridicule it at my discretion.
